THE JUDGES ASSOCIATION OF INDIA

AIMS & OBJECTS

(a) To promote efficient, timely dispensation of justice;

(b) To provide opportunities for continuing education for the judges;

(c) To work for creating a sustained interest in discharging the judicial functions;

(d) To project the need of improving the working conditions and to accomplish the same as a truly professional guild;

(e) To disseminate the knowledge in the field of law by keeping the members informed about the developments in India as well as other democratic set-ups;

(f) To organise workshops and mutual exchange programmes on educative subjects throughout India and among the members of international bodies;

(g) To remove the myth and misunderstanding among the common man concerning the judiciary and to sustain the faith of public in the system;

(h) To work for efficient legislation and transparency in the whole judicial system in India;

(i) To bring out a newsletter and host a web-site for the benefit of the members and the general pubic;

(j) To arrange for study tours;

(k) To recognize and appreciate the talented and outstanding judges;

(l) To compile an all India directory of the Judges:

(m) In addition, such other related avowed subjects.
